Waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the sound of someone softly knocking on your bedroom door can be exciting. I remember serving breakfast in bed to my Mom on Mother’s Day. The fact that my daughters have kept this tradition alive for me means the world. Each year they carefully assemble a thoughtful display of pastries on beautiful dishware and flowers.
Intimate moments like these become traditions that create unforgettable memories I will cherish for years. This year, with the help of Macy’s, Mother’s Day will be extra special. This year, I have an exclusive Mother’s Day gift guide on the Macy’s website with all of my favorite things to get and give. You will find everything from hostess gifts to jewelry, home decor, fragrances, and, my favorite – accessories! From now until April 30th, everything is an additional 30% off during the Macy’s Friends and Family Sale.
Shop my picks and make Mother’s Day this year extra special!

To say that 2020 brought my husband and I closer together would be an understatement. Usually, we function in a parallel reality where we divide and conquer the responsibilities of day to day life. But last year was different, with us spending every weekend at home and spending more hours together, I learned A LOT about him and his interests, likes, and needs. This list has truly been created in honor of my husband, but may make sense for your significant other as well!
To keep things simple, these are all Amazon finds to make shopping easier for you! To see what else I have been shopping on Amazon, visit my storefront here.
Every few years I feel that his slides need to be replaced. He uses them for trips to the mailbox, to take out the trash, hang poolside. These are classic and comfortable!
My husband grabs for his zip up jackets EVERY DAY! Years ago I wrote about the cost to wear ratio and with this one it is totally worth it. You can’t beat this deal and style.
With all the money we all saved taking haircuts into our own hands in 2020, why not upgrade your equipment? This one has 60 minutes of shave time making it the perfect travel set too (whenever we do that again)!
Ok, if you are going to splurge a little, get these! For $70 you can have some peace and quiet during at home workouts. These not only have great sound qulaity, but also won’t fall out (ahem… air pods)!
I knew my husband loved his car, but wow, he is more meticulous about it’s maintenance than I am about my makeup! He will be unusually happy about this gift, you are welcome!
So if the Columbia Zip Up is his pick, then this bomber is mine. It is a stylish layer that I would prefer he wore when we are out an about. At less than $50, this is a great gift!
I hope that this list was helpful! I know shopping for the guys can be challenging!
As a mom of two girls (ages 9 and 10) with totally different personalities, I am sure there is something on this list that will help make shopping for you a little easier this year.
We all want to do something for our kids to lighten things up this year. Books are always my go-to when it comes to gifting (my girls are currently obsessed with this series), but this year in particular the girls and I really got into crafting to help pass time at home.
In particular, the hot chocolate bombs are the perfect stocking stuffer and with video games ruling my #momlife this year, a Roblox gift card is just perfect too!
The chicks have always agreed that a few little statement designer pieces can really dress up an outfit. We are notorious for taking a $50 Nordstrom Rack dress and throwing on a designer belt or brooch to look like a million dollars.
I have also shared how sometimes I buy things second hand, like handbags, to get more bang for my buck. For confidence in shopping second hand, shop places like Fashionphile or TheRealReal for authentic products. Even on pieces like these you can score big on Cyber Monday, so check out these designer pieces that can take any look from drab to fab in seconds.
Another reason to shop these looks, they are classic and timeless. you will wear them again and again for years, so your price to wear ratio that we always talk about it totally favorable.
**NOTE: Items are selling out sooo fast at this time, if you like it, get it ! **
Before you spend less on a similar looking hat, know that there is a reason these cost more – Rag and Bone literally created the trend, their cut, weight of the fabric and overall design makes these hats literally look better than others, so before you waste your money somewhere else, consider an investment in this.
This statement belt has been making the rounds on social media along with the Gucci belt and this Burberry one. It is literally the easiest way to dress up a plain black dress or layer up over a cape.
I rocked these all summer and can vouch for how comfortable and fashionable they are. These are awesome slides, good in the sand and when wet. I love how no matter what I was wearing, I had a little touch of ‘fancy’ on too! Score these for 40% OFF!!
This print never gets old, and this one in particular has more to offer with the additional colors. I love the lightness of this scarf and how easily it drapes over your neck or your coat (as pictured). For the price, you can’t beat this.
I do live a dressy t-shirt but within reason which is why I am so glad that I found this Balmain shirt for $152 dollars. Its black – which I love, with a button shoulder detail that is perfection. What is not to love.
This ones comes in at under $100 and is a perfectly understated tee. I love how the model dressed it up with a skirt, I am more likely to rock this with black skinny jeans.
Lastly, this monogram scarf is a MUST under $300, you will wear it for years, your mom and sisters will steal it so scoop this up. Its hard to find anything from Gucci for less than $300 so- you are welcome!
Well, hopefully these style tips can take your holiday looks up a notch. For higher end statements like Chanel brooches or Chanel earrings definitely check out Fashionphile.
